Growing Collective Knowledge through Innovative Workshops

Community Education Workshops & Conservation Planning Built upon existing community networks to design educational workshops and engage local farmers in a grant program for conservation planning and installation of best management practices. The project was done in partnership with community groups and partners  such as Key Project, Waiahole-Waikane Community Association, and HHFDC. This project was so successful that it was awarded another EPA DOH 319 grant to meet overwhelming requests from farmers in this area.
